Puratos is an international group offering a full range of raw materials and application expertise to the bakery, pastry and chocolate industries.
Their headquarters are located just outside Brussels, where the company was founded in 1919. Almost a century later, its products and services are available in more than 100 countries around the world, and in many cases are produced by a network of local subsidiaries.
Puratos was looking for a quick and easy-to-implement ERP package for a number of subsidiaries. Initially, the goal is to use purchasing, sales, logistics, CRM and accounting and then expand to include manufacturing, among others. Puratos finally chose Odoo with dynapps as implementer after a thorough market study.
The first implementation was for the subsidiary in Nairobi, Kenya. The objective was to be able to buy and sell products within 2 months. Due to the good cooperation between the dynapps consultants and the people involved at Puratos, they started selling the Puratos products in Nairobi on January 6. Our dynapps colleague Filip Tomasetig, was present in Nairobi during the go-live to guide the local people in the operation of Odoo.
After this pilot project in Nairobi, we plan to implement Odoo in the other Puratos subsidiaries and build an integration between Odoo and SAP.
