From paperwork to digitalization
What once relied on paperwork was later digitized using SharePoint and standalone Excel files. While this was a step forward, it led to duplicated efforts and limited visibility into critical processes like quote management and inventory control. With nearly a million products and 75% of its revenue coming from international trade, the need for a more efficient approach became clear. “Our previous systems simply weren’t suited to the scale at which we operate,” explains Marcel Schuijt, General Sales Manager. “It was time to do things differently.”
Odoo as the ERP system
The company chose Odoo, with Dynapps as their implementation partner. Why Odoo? According to Marcel, its all-in-one platform offers the flexibility and scalability needed to streamline daily operations while enabling future growth. Additionally, Odoo’s open-source design makes it user-friendly and easy to customize.

Collaboration with implementation partner Dynapps
The collaboration with Dynapps began with weekly workshops involving employees from all levels of the company. “This broad input helps us avoid tunnel vision,” Edda explains. “It also gives everyone a chance to contribute, which brings valuable insights to the table.” To set the right priorities and optimize processes, the team works closely with business consultant Paul Breevaart.

Ready for the future
The full implementation is expected to be completed by early 2025, a milestone Edda and her colleagues eagerly anticipate. According to Edda, the team’s buy-in has been excellent:
“I regularly update my team on Odoo’s latest features. This creates space for questions and feedback, and I notice it provides a sense of calm.” Despite the challenges of today’s global political landscape, Siebtechnik Tema B.V. continues to grow steadily, as it has always done. “With Odoo, we have a system that grows with us. It finally feels like we’re ready for the future,” concludes Marcel.
